Dr. Jean White

Ambulatory

Dr. White became involved in the Thoroughbred industry at a young age working at Fair Hill training Centr as a groom and exercise rider. She went on to be a veterinary technician at Delaware Park Race Track while she was obtaining her B.S. in Animal Science at the University of Delaware. She then moved to Georgia where she attended the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine and received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 1999. After completing a one year internship at Ocala Equine Hospital she joined the practice as an associate veterinarian in July 2000. Her practice spans reproduction, neonatal and foal care, sales and training horses.

Additionally, Dr. White runs a full-care farm which handles foaling, breeding, sales preparation and rehabilitation of race horses. She spends as much time as possible with her family and her collection of pets. In her spare time she enjoys fox hunting, eventing and watching her son, Dylan, play T-ball.
