Dr. Caitlin Roberts, V.M.D., our dental specialist, graduated from the University of Pennsylvania Veterinary School with interest in sports medicine, lameness and dentistry.
She uses a full mouth speculum and power floats, which allows her to perform a comprehensive exam of the entire mouth and address each tooth as needed. We are aware that some of you have concerns with the use of power equipment in dentistry. However, with the advances that have been made in the equipment itself, along with the use of proper sedation, the procedure can be done safely when performed by a knowledgeable and experienced person.
